The pipe coating industry provides a vital process to the ever-expanding energy industry. With this in mind, our Quality Department has only one goal in mind: to provide a high-value product that will withstand the harshest environments our planet has to offer.
Our trained technicians test all materials used for projects prior to application, ensuring they are up the manufacturer and customer standards. Testing varies from simple adhesion tests to destructive impact testing and full scale bend tests. All results are noted and kept for permanent project records. All records are presented at the end of the project in data book form to clients. Quality testing is one of LaBarge’s key components in ensuring a coating project that not only protects the pipe, but ensures continued flow of product in the pipeline.
Also, we utilize the ISO 9000 policy issue by the International Organization for Standardization.
